Samsung Galaxy S8 Price and Colour Variants Leaked

Tags

One of the Most awaited Smartphone of the year Samsung Galaxy S8 Price and colour variants has been leaked.we know that the Samsung Galaxy S8 is not coming at MWC mega event 2017. but the Samsung will give us launch date and video teaser about new Samsung galaxy s8 on Feb 26.Trademark filed regarding the much rumoured Bixby assistant and Sony has been reportedly been roped in as a third supplier for Samsung Galaxy S8 batteries.
The Ukrainain retailer's database has listed the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus in black, gold and orchid grey colour variants. The Samsung Galaxy S8 price, according to the retailer is $950 (roughly Rs. 63,800) and $1050 (roughly Rs. 70,500) for the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus respectively. This is more expensive smartphone than current generation Galaxy S7 and S7 edge smartphones. However the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to come with many improvements including a large pressure sensitive display, dual camera setup and a dedicated AI assistant,so the price increase could well be accounted.
Speaking of Samsung's Bixby assistant, Galaxy Club reports that Samsung filed a trademark for 'Bixby Reminder' in Europe, suggesting that it is going to be a feature in the AI assistant. Similar trademarks have been filed by Samsung in the past for Bixby Pay and Bixby Vision as well. Bixby Reminder, as the name suggests, is likely to be able to read calendar events and remind you of them automatically. Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to have a dedicated button for activating Bixby on the smartphone, and it is also expected to be integrated with native apps.
Lastly, Samsung is obviously hoping to avoid a repetition of the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco, and has reportedly given Sony a contract to supply lithium-ion battery packs for the Galaxy S8. With this, Sony becomes the third company to be roped in - the other two being Samsung SDI and Japan's Murata Manufacturing - as suppliers for Samsung Galaxy S8's batteries. The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus are expected to sport 3000mAh and 3500mAh batteries respectively.
According to previous leaks, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus will feature a 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch dual-edge curved displays. Samsung is widely expected to launch the smartphones on March 29, and ship them sometime in April.

YouTube Go Now Available; Lets You Preview, Share, Watch Videos Offline

Tags

YouTube Go was previewed back in September, at the Google for India event. Built for India, the app is offline-centric and meant to combat the data connectivity woes that the country faces along with other emerging markets. Users will be able to preview videos when offline, share them with nearby friends when without data, and of course also download videos to watch when offline later.
The YouTube Go app is listed on Google Play store and is available to download in India. The listing description reads, "YouTube Go  A brand new app to download, enjoy and share videos...bina data udae!" The app is listed as "unreleased", and comes with the warning that it may be unstable.
The app weighs in at 8.5MB, and supports devices running on Android versions all the way back to v4.1 Jelly Bean. As we mentioned, the YouTube Go app has several features geared towards offline use, as well as data management. Apart from being able to share videos with nearby friends without using the Internet, users will be able to preview videos via their thumbnails, and see the weight of videos available at different (basic, standard) resolutions.
Detailing the YouTube Go offline sharing feature, Google says users will be able to share videos via Bluetooth with friends nearby without using data in seconds, and once it is received on the other end, a 15KB "Internet security check" allows the video to be played. We tried the feature, and it worked.
The listing was first spotted by Android Police, which notes that though the APK file is available, the app seems to only work in India for now.

Verizon and T-Mobile are come together for the best LTE speeds in the US

Tags

Open Signal has recently released their state of Mobile Networks:USA " and say Verizon has now tied T-Mobile for the fastest carrier in the United States and the results are so close between the two that they are virtually tied for the best.
Using data collected from 169,683 users, 4,599,231,167 data points were used to measure network speeds on both 4G and 3G, network availability and latency. The data is collected by users installing the Open Signal app from Google Play or the App Store and going about their daily routine.
In their analysis of the collected data, they say that Verizon has improved their 4G network speeds to pull even with T-Mobile who has traditionally done well in this category. They also mention that the average overall network speeds in the U.S. have risen slightly, and over 81% of U.S. residents have access to LTE networks.
The ‘Overall Network Comparison’ ties Verizon and T-Mobile together in two categories: Download Speed: 4G, and Download Speed: Overall, which we assume incorporates both 4G and 3G speeds. This would make sense, given that T-Mobile’s 3G speeds (HSPA+) are much faster than Verizon’s 3G (CDMA) speeds. T-Mobile beats Verizon in 3G speeds, and 3G latency while Verizon has T-Mobile beat in 4G latency and 4G availability.
T-Mobile won in two more categories that it didn’t tie with Verizon, these two categories are both becoming more and more irrelevant as the majority of users in the US are being almost (if not entirely) supported by LTE signals as 3G technologies see less usage.
Back to the speeds, Verizon saw an average of 16.9 Mbps while T-Mobile saw 16.7 Mbps in 4G data, close enough for a statistical tie (higher HSPA+ (3G) speeds allowed both Verizon and T-Mobile to tie in the overall speeds category with an average of 14.6 Mbps. Verizon and AT&T saw a boost of about 1 Mbps over the last quarter, and while T-Mobile stayed steady, Sprint’s network dropped slightly.
Availability of high-speed data services shows that all four carriers have improved, but T-Mobile (86.6%) is now within two percentage points of Verizon (88.2%) when it comes to finding an LTE signal. The company with the most improvement here is Sprint, who jumped from covering 69.9% in August to 76.8% in February 2017.
Verizon or T-Mobile performed the best in every category tested, and the final results show that any measurable advantage T-Mobile or Verizon previously held in nationwide network testing has shrunk to the point of being insignificant. You still need to pick the carrier service that works bests for you, but overall either Red or Magenta should have you covered.
The best part is that they now need to fight even harder for our dollars.

Tesla Is Coming In India This Summer, Says CEO Elon Musk

Tags
American electric car maker Tesla looks set to debut in India this summer.last year company initially hinted at India launch plans in April. On Tuesday CEO Elon Musk confirmed Tesla Launch is planned  for the summer this year.
Elon Musk confirmed India plans on twitter while replying to a user who asked ,"Eagerly waiting for Tesla to launch in India. Any plans to do it? If so then When?" He replied, "Hoping for summer this year." Unfortunately, there are no more details about the India launch plans as of now.
Tesla, last year, announced its plans to start shipping cars that are fully capable of self-driving. It had opened booking for Indian buyers too and got a decent response from people who dished out $1000 for the same.
In April, Elon Musk had said Tesla has added more countries including India, Brazil, South Africa, South Korea, New Zealand, Singapore and Ireland to the Tesla Model 3 order page. The vehicle will go into production in late 2017 and is expected to cost around $35,000 before tax breaks.
Musk had earlier revealed plans for manufacturing operations with Gigafactory installations in India apart from some other countries due to high demand for its batteries and by looking at long-term view of his business. We can finally expect this to happen this year. Musk's plan for Tesla launch apart from the Gigafactory installation may work well with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision who previously reiterated the vision of 175 Gigawatts of clean energy by 2022 for the country, and the Gigafactory could help meet those goals. To recall, Prime Minister Narendra Modi back in 2015 after touring the American automotive company's campus had expressed interest in using Tesla's power storage technologies and its applications in rural areas.

E-Commerce Giant Alibaba Reportedly in Talks With Telecom Players to Provide Free Internet in India

Tags
Alibaba The E-Commerce Giant may be the next player after Facebook to try it's hands on providing free internet service in India.A new report claims that the company is in talks with telecom operators as well as wi-fi providers to offer free Internet services in the Country.
"We will definitely look at the opportunity to work together with service providers or even some Wi-Fi providers.we are trying to offer lower cost data to users and better connectivity, even free of cost connectivity.Wi-Fi providers and other players can be potentials and we are in talk",Jack Huang,President of Overseas Business,Alibaba Mobile Business told Business Insider India.
Alibaba is reportedly still working on the plans around its free Internet service in India and is still in talks with "potential partners." The Chinese company is considering providing free Internet services to states that have connectivity problems. "We actually think in geographic way because in India not every state is suffering from connectivity problem so we will focus more on providing this kind of services to states that are suffering more and also we will have comprehensive analysis on already existing consumers who will actually need this kind of service," added Huang.
It's worth mentioning that Alibaba isn't the first to work on providing free Internet in the country as Facebook earlier launched its Internet.org and Free Basic projects with similar aims. However, both of Facebook's initiatives met with heavy backlash in India from "net neutrality" advocates, who claimed that Free Basics only allowed access to selected websites thus violating the principle that the entire Internet should be available to everyone on equal terms.
Mukesh Ambani led Reliance Jio is currently providing free services including data to all consumers as part of its ‘Happy new year’ plan till the end of March.

Latest Image Of Moto G5 Plus reveals 5.2-inch screen, 12MP camera, and NFC

Tags
Information coming from internet about the upcoming Moto G5 Plus will be seen in a sporty look with a 5.2 Inch display 12 MP "Rapid Focus Camera",redesigned fingerprint reader,NFC and a TurboPower-compatible 3,000 mAh battery.
From the leaked image you can see that the device is called the "Moto $$".this is undoubtedly a placeholder for the name of the device. If a placeholder is being used,we can presume that lenovo moto isn't final with the name of the smartphone.the plastic film on the display also highlights that the smartphone will have a 2.0GHz octa -core processor.
This isn’t the first time we have seen the Moto G5 Plus leaked. The Moto G5 Plus was recently leaked in live images revealing the same redesign and a tweaked fingerprint sensor. It is expected that the device will launch in March 2017 and we hope to see the device in action at MWC 2017.
The G5 Plus also gets a new rear camera design, which we have seen in earlier leakes. The new camera design is similar to what we have seen on the Moto Z family of phones. The 'Moto' logo is placed below the camera module.
Earlier leaks suggested that the device sports a 5.5-inch display so we will have to wait for the unveiling of the device to know the final design and specifications.

Uber Hires Veteran NASA Engineer to Develop Flying Cars

Tags
Uber is foot steping to expand the scope of it's flying car experiment.the company just hired NASA engineer Mark Moore, who worked at the federal agency as an advanced engineer and basically kickstarted the current interest in vertical take-off and landing craft for short-haul urban flight with 2010 paper on the feasibility of the helicopter like vehicles.Moore will act as Director of Engineering at Uber Elevate, which is what the ride-hailing company calls it's exploration of airborne on-demand drives.

Moore's research into so-called VTOL-short for vertical takeoff and landing, or more colloquially, flying cars-inspired at least one billionaire technologist. After reading the white paper, Google co-founder Larry Page secretly started and financed two Silicon Valley startups, Zee Aero and Kitty Hawk, to develop the technology, Bloomberg Businessweek reported last summer.
Now Moore is leaving the confines of the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration, where he has spent the last 30 years, to join one of Google's rivals: Uber Technologies. Moore is taking on a new role as director of engineering for aviation at the ride-hailing company, working on a flying car initiative known as Uber Elevate. "I can't think of another company in a stronger position to be the leader for this new ecosystem and make the urban electric VTOL market real," he says.
Uber isn't constructing a flying car yet. In its own white paper published last October, the company laid out a radical vision for airborne commutes and identified technical challenges it said it wanted to help the nascent industry solve, like noise pollution, vehicle efficiency and limited battery life. Moore consulted on the paper and was impressed by the company's vision and potential impact.
Moore acknowledged that many obstacles stand in the way, and they're not only technical. He says each flying car company would need to independently negotiate with suppliers to get prices down, and lobby regulators to certify aircrafts and relax air-traffic restrictions. But he says Uber, with its 55 million active riders, can uniquely demonstrate that there could be a massive, profitable and safe market. "If you don't have a business case that makes economic sense, than all of this is just a wild tech game and not really a wise investment," Moore says.
Uber's vision is a seductive one, particularly for sci-fi fans. The company envisions people taking conventional Ubers from their homes to nearby "vertiports" that dot residential neighborhoods. Then they would zoom up into the air and across town to the vertiport closest to their offices. ("We don't need stinking bridges!" says Moore.) These air taxis will only need ranges of between 50 to 100 miles, and Moore thinks that they can be at least partially recharged while passengers are boarding or exiting the aircraft. He also predicts we'll see several well-engineered flying cars in the next one to three years and that there will be human pilots, at least managing the onboard computers, for the foreseeable future.
His move to Uber is a risky one. Moore says he's leaving NASA one year before he's eligible for retirement and walking away from a significant percentage of his pension and free health care for life "to be in the right place at the right time to make this market real." (Though it's probably safe to say that Uber, with some $11 billion on its balance sheet, is making it worth his while.) Moore seems to be disillusioned with NASA, saying the agency is leaving promising new aviation markets to the private industry. "It's the federal government who is best positioned to overcome extremely high levels of risks," he says.
While NASA is larded with layers of bureaucracy and management, Uber Chief Executive Officer Travis Kalanick has been closely involved in hatching his company's flying car plans, Moore says. That is, when he's not distracted with his own political crises, such as his role on President Donald Trump's advisory council, which he relinquished last week after criticism from customers, drivers and employees.
Kalanick's bet on Uber Elevate is another indication that while Silicon Valley seems on the surface to be consumed with politics and protests these days, the march into the future continues apace.

Samsung Pay Is Coming To India In The First Half Of #2017

Tags

Samsung is planning to launch its Samsung Pay mobile payment service in India in the first half of 2017.to bring Samsung Pay service in India, the company has partnered with American Express.also Samsung may be exploring opportunities with giants such as Visa and Master Card as well.
American Express has been one of the partners of Samsung for the E-payment service in USA,South Korea and Australia.elsewhere,Samsung has also partnered with MasterCard and Visa.
Samsung began testing the service in India in December last year.Samsung rolled out an update to the galaxy not 5 smartphone in India which included the Samsung Pay app.
Samsung Pay,which rivals Android Pay and Google Pay,uses NFC-equipped point-of-sale terminals for some of its features.that would have been a hard sell as it would require Samsung to convince merchants across the country to upgrade their existing point-of-sale machines.most of the point-of-sale devices in India don't support NFC.
But the Samsung Pay also support MST i.e.Magnetic Secure Transmission,a technology that allows it to send a magnetic signal from a compatible device to the payment terminal's card reader.this allows the smartphone to mimic a physical card, enabling the vast majority of exiting terminals to support Samsung Pay as well
India is potentially a big market for the South Korean tech giant and its payment service, but will be restricted due to just 2.5 million of premium devices Galaxy S6, Galaxy S7 and Galaxy Note 5 shipped in India. The true growth of the service may be realised with its introduction to more affordable handsets.
Samsung earlier this week launched a mobile web payment service in South Korea for all smartphones that are powered by Android OS. The service called Samsung Pay Mini will let Android users make online transactions in S Korea after downloading a dedicated app.

Apple Patents a wearable battery charger

Apple has patented a wearable battery charger to top up its Apple watches on the go.The patent reveals a new look for Apple's latest watch model with a rounded face.
The patent, published by the US Patent and trademark office today,is listed as a 'charging apparatus for wearable electronic device.'The patent is about manufacturing an inductive charger, implemented in the Apple Watch strap or attached to an existing band.
The illustrations show us a small wire that connects a battery in the strap to the back of the device. The strap itself is really thin, probably in order to be both comfortable to wear and look tolerable.

There’s no knowing if such idea will ever make it to a real product or Apple is just protecting this idea from being used by other companies.
Interestingly enough, the watch on the graphs is actually circular and not a square with round corners. Apple often uses generic illustrations of things in order to broaden the patent applications or actually shows a design that later does not make it to the market, but we can always hope there's more to that.

The wearable charger will likely use a magnetic charge point for easy snap on/snap off access.two different charger designs are described in the patent.one shows the charger embedded into the wristband of the watch.the second depicts a separate module that sits underneath the chassis of the watch and then attaches to the band.
Apple has proposed the use of special 'heat-dissipating' circuitry to stop the battery module burning users. The patent suggests that the wireless unit could be plugged in to recharge when not in use.It remains unclear whether Apple will ever actually make the wearable charger.

PS4 Will Support External Hard Drives in Upcoming Update 4.50

Tags
Sony showed off a preview of the next software update for the playStation4 today.which add long waited feature to the console. One of the biggest difference between the Xbox One and PS4 was the ability to use external storage. While Xbox One owners have been able to do this for ages, the only way for owners to expand storage for a PS4 has been to replace the internal drive. Plugging an external hard drive to an Xbox One allowed you to download and run games of it. The PS4 had no such option, restricting the use of USB storage to play music and video, or back up an entire PS4. This will change with the PS4 system software update 4.50 codenamed Sasuke.
In the upcoming 4.50 software, Sony is finally adding the ability to simply plug in a USB 3.0 hard drive to instantly get more space, and will support hard drives up to 8TB. Content installed on the external drive will show up in the PlayStation 4 software alongside anything on the internal drive.
Other additions with the 4.50 update include adding the ability to view Blu-ray movies in stereoscopic 3D directly on the PS VR headset. Further come the ability to post directly into the Activity Feed on PSN, a simplified notification list, and a revamped Quick Menu that takes less of the gameplay screen.
Along with these additions, you can finally use your own screenshots and pictures as a wallpaper. The PS4 system software update 4.50 is currently in beta. Judging by past betas, we should see this hit the general public by the end of the month at the very latest.

Sony Tipped to Unveil 5 Xperia Smartphones at MWC 2017 Next Month

Tags

Earlier this month, Sony was suggested to announce two new Xperia smartphones at MWC 2017 in Barcelona next month. However, now a new leak suggests that the Japan-based Tech Giant is planning to announce five, not two, new Xperia smartphones. There is a good chance that this might be the company's smartphone lineup for the entire year with release dates till December but it still comes across as a surprising strategy from the company.
The leak does not provide official names for the alleged Xperia smartphones but comparisons with current lineup can still be drawn on the basis of the specifications that have been suggested,
As per the leak, the alleged flagship Xperia smartphone (codenamed 'Yoshino') sports a 5.5-inch 4K (2160x3840 pixels) display and runs on Snapdragon 835 SoC. The smartphone, which is believed to be Xperia XZ's successor, is expected to pack 4GB/ 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM and a Sony IMX400 sensor-based camera.
The second smartphone, codenamed 'BlancBright', seems like a coin-toss at this moment as the phone is expected to feature either Snapdragon 835 or Snapdragon 635 processor. However, the phone is suggested to sport a 5.5-inch QHD (1440x2560 pixels) display and pack 4GB of RAM. This phone has also been tipped to come with same IMX400 camera sensor as the one on Yoshino. The device might be following the footsteps of Xperia X2 Performance in the lineup.
The smartphones codenamed 'Keyaki' and 'Hinoki', which are expected to be mid-range devices in the lineup, are expected to be powered by a MediaTek Helio P20 processor.
The device codenamed Keyaki has been tipped to sport a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display and pack 4GB of RAM. The phone has been suggested to come with 64GB of built-in storage. In terms of optics Keyaki is expected to sport a 16-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel camera at front.
On the other hand, Hinoki is expected to come with a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display and pack 3GB of RAM. The device is expected to come with 32GB of inbuilt storage. In the camera department, the phone is expected to feature a 16-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel camera at front just like Keyaki.
The last smartphone in the lineup has been codenamed 'Mineo' and is expected to carry a price tag of around $350 (roughly Rs. 23,800). Apart from the expected price tag, other details regarding the phone has not shared yet.

India vs England, 3rd T20I: nerves in business end of the match will come up trumps

Hello guys today is the last T20 match between India Vs England.we all know that the series is at 1-1 equal position. We saw the 2nd T20 match was nerve holding till the last ball.so today we can predict that we will see once again a thrilling encounter between India VS England.
As of now India won a four match Test series by 4-0.after that clinched the three ODI series by winning first two games.England on the other hand breathed life into the tour by winning the 3rd ODI and first T20.
Captain Kholi will perhaps feel perfectly at home at Bengaluru's M Chinnaswamy stadium and can except the loudest cheer from the crowd.Indian pace department flourished in the second T20 with Ashish Nehra and Jasprit Bumrah doing a terrific job to defend a lowly 144 score.the overall bowling combination is one that the Indians will have to ponder over.Kholi gave preference to his spinners over medium pacers in the second T20,with veteran leg-spinner Amit Mishra getting some returns in the form of an economical spell and the crucial wicket of England skipper Eoin Morgan.Mishra thus is likey to get the call-up in Bengaluru as well as will Yuzvendra Chahal, another one of the RCB personnel in the Indian T20 side, whose knowledge of the conditions will come in handy for the team.
For England ,who were left seething with anger at the end of the second T20 after a couple of umpiring howlers, the final T20 presents itself as an opportunity to win at least one trophy in what has been an outright disappointing tour for them so far, with their performances getting better in the limited-overs legs of the tour.
Squads:
India: Virat Kohli (c), Jasprit Bumrah, Yuzvendra Chalal, MS Dhoni (wk), Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mandeep Singh, Amit Mishra, Ashish Nehra, Manish Pandey, Hardik Pandya, Rishabh Pant, Pervez Rasool, KL Rahul, Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh.

Seagate Is Planning To Launch 16 TB Hard Drive Next Year

Tags

Currently Seagate reached 10 TB, but Seagate believes they will squish even more into the space and has pledged to keep the pressure up on rivals like HGST,who continue to squeeze more and more data onto the traditional magnetic platters.
Seagate is getting the extra capacity through the use of helium, which makes the drives more able to cope with staying on track to the platter.
After releasing its 10TB BarraCuda Pro Hard Drive, last year as part of its Guardian Series that's targeted at home use, Seagate is now planning to release a 16TB HDD next year. The company is expected to launch its high-capacity hard disk drive within the next 18 months.
The 16TB drive will be a standard 3.5-inch SATA drive and will be Helium-filled much like some of the other drives released by Seagate itself and Western Digital in last two years,Apart from the 16TB drive, the company is also testing a 12TB drive, the company's CEO Stephen Luczo told to Geek.com. Luczo says that the initial response to the drive has been positive.
As per the report, there is a third Seagate 14TB drive in works as well. Just like the 16TB drive, the 12TB and 14TB hard drives will also be filled with Helium. Helium is used to reduce drag and friction between the spinning hard drive platters and the read/write heads that float above them, allowing for denser platters and lower power consumption.
The 10TB hard drive, which was released last year by Seagate, was priced at $535 (roughly Rs. 36,350) by the company and therefore the price of 16TB HDD will, in all likelihood, be higher. However, we will have to wait for the official announcement by the company for specific details about pricing as well as availability.
Even though prices for SSDs have come down considerably in last few years, there are still users who prefer hard disk drives and are likely to rejoice the high-capacity storage drive when it is finally announced by Seagate.

Hello Guys today i am going to tell you about augmented reality goggles which comes from the very famous Microsoft called Hololens.this is the most ambitious product created by the man  name Alex Kipman. The Brazil born alex introduces this product in 2015.the Hololens overlay virtual 3D images on what you're seeing in the real world.
Speaking to CNET the father of HoloLens Alex recently says that Hololens will get "more, realistic, awesome, intelligent, delicious"but not cheaper any time soon.
A Microsoft representative recently revealed that only “thousands” of HoloLens headsets were sold, and Alex confirmed that Microsoft was focusing on enterprise customers, not consumers,
At the Education technology conference BETT in United Kingdom Roger Walkden from the HoloLens team revealed, that sales of the headset are so far in the ‘thousands’, insisting that’s all the company needs.
"We're not trying to sell hundreds of thousands or millions or anything, it's expensive, and it's not in huge numbers. So we're happy with the level of sales that we've got - I can't tell you anything about the numbers, but it's in thousands, not hundreds of thousands, and that's fine. That's all we need," he said.
Asked about future plans of waiting the production costs to lower, Walkden assured that HoloLens is currently in its version one and the VR market is new. “There’s a roadmap we’re following. For now this is the only device we need in order to get people started on their journey.”
The price for Hololens Development Kit that only developers can buy is about $3,000 while the commerical suite for $5000.
It also remains to be seen if Microsoft will ever really come out with a consumer-focused AR headset. It may end up pushing some of this technology through its partner manufactures as the company has hinted in the past that some of its partners could create their own affordable versions of the Hololens.
